Mother’s Day is a day to commemorate and remember the mothers in your life, including your biological mothers, stepmothers, mother-in-laws, grandmothers, and spiritual mothers. How many individuals will consider everything the Lord has to say about honoring our mothers?
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. Ephesians 6:1-3
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Exodus 21:12
Blessing Prayer for Mom
LORD
We pray that you would bless mom as we lift her up to you. We pray that you would gift her with divine knowledge. We ask that you bless her with a tranquility that is beyond comprehension. Allow Your blessing to rest on her so that she will always rejoice, pray constantly, and give thanks in all circumstances. Bless her with a profound faith in only You. We ask that you anoint her, that she yield the fruit of the Spirit, that her labor be not in vain, and that the work of her hands be blessed. As she goes about her days, Lord, bless her with love, hope, and trust. Thank you Jesus Bless her.
